David Lindsay is a fan of the Spoken Word.

With 172 poems/monologues in a wide-ranging 'repertoire' he can claim to have a half-decent memory and a passion for reciting.

He is slowly building this repertoire and trying to make sure too many don't fall out of his head during his busy working week.

Having now written 14 poems of his own, he's also hoping to add more of his own work to this website when he finds time to actually write it.

Meanwhile, he's happy enough to share the genius of
better writers and bring his own brand of the Spoken Word to anyone who cares to listen!

For an appropriate donation to charity, and mostly just for the heck of it, David is willing to host or perform at suitable events - please get in touch at monologuedave@aol.com

Along with Jim Saville and others, David co-hosts "Talking Zebras" -  a Spoken Word Group in the fine Yorkshire town of Cleckheaton which meets at 2.15pm on the 1st, 3rd and 5th Saturday of each month.

He also regularly joins in at other local poetry and folk meetings in the area - please see the links page.
